Corporate identity design – Terms and conditions:

By accepting the quotation supplied by Swenka Graphic Design you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

Initial Concept Delivery: Swenka Graphic Design will begin the design development process upon receiving a payment of 50% deposit. As soon as payments are made a proof of payment must be to Swenka Graphic Design.

The brief: It is important that you email a detailed descriptive brief, which should be in a Word document.

Swenka Graphic Design will produce your initial corporate identity concepts within three business days following the receipt of your deposit payment. A presentation of two different layout styles showing all your corporate identity elements will be emailed  to you.

Revision cycles: Within a week of the first round of design being emailed to the client (Phase 1) the client must respond with detailed feedback. If a corporate identity is not according to the client’s needs, one more presentation with 1 new unique style will be created (Phase 2). This will only be done if the client has supplied clear and informative feedback. Thereafter one more revision (Phase 3) can be made by the client, based on the corporate identity styles presented in Phase 1, provided the requested changes adhere to effective design best practices. Should a client still not be 100% satisfied after phase 3, any work thereafter will be re-quoted for.

Payment: A 50% deposit is required before starting any work. Payment must be made via EFT to the bank account of which the details will be supplied. After a corporate identity style has been approved, the outstanding balance must be paid in full before any files will be sent. On receipt of the total amount, all the required files will be sent.

Refunds: Swenka Graphic Design follows a no refund policy.

Project duration: First drafts will be emailed within three working days and revision will take place as per client’s feedback received during working hours. Swenka Graphic Design operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm GMT+2 (South African local time).

Ownership/Copyright: Upon receipt of payment of all fees, copyright and title of the final artwork become the property of the client, who will have unlimited, indefinite, and royalty-free use of the images and written content. Swenka Graphic Design retains rights to display the artwork in portfolio and advertising material, including publicly accessible websites. All concepts, or other preliminary materials, which are not selected by the client and those that are not included in the final delivery, remain the full property of Swenka Graphic Design.

Artwork will be supplied in the following file formats: Logo files:
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • The original Illustrator file .ai:
  • EPS: Vector format
Letterhead files:
  • A Word document with a JPEG header and footer. You will be able to update all the information In the Word document. Only the graphic elements will be in JPREG format.
  • Print ready PDF.
Business card design
  • Print ready PDF.
  • Note: Because a business card can’t be prepared in a Word document as a print ready file for printers, it is unfortunately not possible to supply business card designs in Word format.
Email signature
  • JPEG
PowerPoint presentation template
  • Jpegs of all the slide elements.
  • A PowerPoint with a cover page design, a follow up page and a “Thank you” page design
Folder design:
  • Print ready PDF
Facebook logo and cover page
  • JPEG and or PNG
Twitter page background
  • JPEG and or PNG
Use of corporate identity: Swenka Graphic Design can unfortunately not commit to teaching clients to use any software in which to apply their corporate identity. As Swenka Graphic Design does not handle printing, we can have no involvement regarding this and you will enter into an agreement directly with the printer of your own choice. We will however assist you in finding a printer if required. Stock photography and images: Any additional images and stock photography not provided by the client will be quoted for as an additional cost.
